Vein Preservation
Our Save My Veins campaign supports healthcare providers in educating people with chronic kidney disease and their families to help them make the best choices about vascular access for dialysis.
These educational resources provide information about the importance of vein preservation, and types of vascular access.
How you can help:
- Support your patients with chronic kidney disease by providing them with the Save My Veins fact sheets and wallet cards.
- Educate patients about the importance of being actively involved in their care so they can preserve their veins for a fistula or graft.
- Provide them with information on the types of vascular access.
- Discuss the importance of vein preservation with healthcare providers who deliver care to people with chronic kidney disease.
