Regional Medical Leads

The regional medical leads work with regional directors to advance the goals of the Ontario Renal Plan at the local level. The leads work to improve care for people with chronic kidney disease by:

  • providing strategic guidance in the regional implementation of the Ontario Renal Plan
  • leading quality improvement strategies in their regions
  • engaging primary care providers, nephrologists and other stakeholders in their regions
