Our work involves leading the organization, management and funding for the delivery of kidney care services in Ontario. The focus is on quality, value for money and access to care. In everything we do, we take into account the experiences and perspectives of patients and their families. Their input ultimately affects how kidney care is provided across the province.
Our work aligns with the 3 goals outlined in the Ontario Renal Plan:
- Empower and support patients and family members to be active in their care
- Integrate patient care throughout the kidney care journey
- Improve access to kidney care for patients
