Regional in-centre dialysis occupancy compared to recommended maximum capacity: Total number of outpatient in-centre hemodialysis treatments that all Regional Renal Program sites combined have the capacity to deliver on a weekly basis. The total number of treatment spots available at the Regional Renal Program hub sites is considered to be 85% of its true treatment capacity to account for fallback capacity.

Percentage of Regional Renal Programs operating above their maximum recommended in-centre dialysis capacity: the total number of Regional Renal Programs in the province.

Numerator

Regional in-centre dialysis occupancy compared to recommended maximum capacity: Total number of outpatient in-centre hemodialysis treatments delivered within a week across all Regional Renal Program sites combined. The total number of treatments delivered is calculated using the 90th percentile of treatments observed on any given day within the measured time period.

Percentage of Regional Renal Programs operating above their maximum recommended in-centre dialysis capacity: the number of Regional Renal Programs operating above their maximum recommended in-centre dialysis capacity.
