Regional Directors

Each region is led by one of our regional directors. The directors plan and carry out improvements to chronic kidney disease services in their regions. They do this by working with physicians, hospitals, service providers, and patient and community groups within their Local Health Integration Networks. They also provide strategic advice and guidance on provincial initiatives.

Each regional director, along with a regional medical lead, oversees an integrated renal program council. Each council includes representatives from across the region.

Regional directors report regularly to us and their communities on the performance of the chronic kidney disease system in their region. We also meet with them regularly to share best practices and drive quality improvement initiatives to improve services.
